Teeth in a day at Quincy, MA

Over 60 million people in the United States have no natural teeth. For many, this means wearing full dentures. Expertly crafted dentures restore the smile. However, they are held in place primarily by natural suction. “Floating” dentures may wobble, slip, or cause mouth sores. Using the All on Four technique, Quincy dentist, Dr. Stephen Matarazzo, restores more than teeth. Patients experience renewed self-confidence and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures… eating, smiling, laughing, speaking clearly, and singing.

Basics of All on Four

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into the jawbone. All on Four uses four specially-designed implants to anchor an entire arch of teeth securely. Dr. Matarazzo handles all phases of diagnosis, planning, and implant placement. He can create a high-quality, lightweight denture for this purpose, or possibly retrofit your existing denture for the All on Four system.

Benefits of All on Four

The primary advantage is a lifetime solution to missing teeth. All on Four lets you forget about your dentures and enjoy life. Other benefits include:

  • Immediate teeth – In many cases, Dr. Matarazzo can place implants and insert the denture on the same day as extractions. You don’t have to go a day without teeth.
  • No grafting – Usually bone grafts are not needed. By tilting the back implants, maximum available bone is utilized. This also results in shorter treatment time.
  • Quality of life – The patient begins to see improvement right away – a great looking smile, confidence in denture stability, and chewing function.
  • Economical – The only other option for fixed (not removable) restoration of all teeth is full arches of conventional dental implants. The All on Four method is more affordable.

Hate Dentures? Try All On Four by Dr. Matarazzo

Hate Dentures? Try All On Four by Dr. Matarazzo
What is an All On Four Procedure? Dr. Stephen Matarazzo - Dentistry at its Finest from Quincy, MA explains this procedure is ideal for patients whose natural teeth can't be saved, but they don't want to wear Dentures or removable Dentures.

What is an all- on- 4 procedure?
The term all-on-four is a common term or you might even hear people say teeth in a day

Who is an idle candidate for this procedure?
All on four is generally done for patients who have their natural teeth. The natural teeth can’t be saved, can’t be fixed and they don’t want to wear dentures or removable dentures at all ever.

How is the procedure done?
When we find out that they are a candidate, we go through all the steps we just talked about, looking at their mouth, the shape, the results they want.

For the people that are candidates, it is still lifetime and money and they are able to set up a visit where the remaining natural hopeless teeth are all removed in one visit. Four dental implants are placed at the same visit and then I place plastic temporary teeth on the implants the same day that are not removable. So, they never leave with removable dentures.

How long do all on 4 implants last?
Three months later we unscrew the plastic teeth and start to make the final beautiful porcelain prosthetic teeth. They look gorgeous and they will wear them long for decades and decades.
