Cosmetic Dentistry

Hi, this is Dr. Stephen Matarazzo, we are here with our friend David and he is going to tell us a little bit of story of why they came to us and what happened. David if you could help us – sure. I think I obviously had some serious issues with my teeth, it was something that had bothered me or quite some time, and years of neglect took its toll. I finally got the confidence to build up a relationship with a dentist and from day 1 Dr. Stephen Matarazzo and I walked a great distance over the last few years. Much more confidence now, and I am just thrilled to death with the outcome of my teeth. Beautiful! I want to show how good it looks.  This is before we whitened the teeth – you can see here. Do you feel good about how far we came? Yes. That is how we started together. It is embarrassing – the transformation is amazing. Look at just the bottom teeth and all we did on the bottom was straightening them, and do the cavities with white fillings. Look at how clean and nice those look! They look great! So it has been a pleasure and I wanted to work with you – and it is just amazing. So you feel a difference in your life? Absolutely – much more confidence and I feel I have accomplished better opportunities. Life changing move that we made. Albright – you had the courage and I had the courage to do it. Really! I will never forget the day. You know I was waiting for a buddy outside the diner and it was just something I had been brewing for a while and for whatever reason that was the day. So you were talking to a friend. No I was just talking to myself and I was having some quiet time in the car and that was day 1 to the next chapter. That is like a lot of things – where you have to hit bottom before you start going up. I know with my weight loss and things, I really just had – I knew for years I had to do something and I just had to be alone and think about it and how I wanted the rest of my life to go. So congratulations that took courage. Thank you – ok buddy thank you!

Hi this is Dr. Stephen Matarazzo and this is Cindy – she has been a patient here for a few years, she was nice enough to tell us a little bit of her story to us. How long do you think we met Cindy? 3 years ago, yeah? And before we met tell me about the different dentist you saw and what they told you? Well I have been to general dentists, periodontist, cosmetic dentist, little bit of everybody. Orthodontist. You went for years and what ended up happening? Well I had Invisalign for 3 years. Mhmm I needed so many different things, a lot of dental work, I was definitely afraid of the dentist. What was your major worry or concerns – what the major goal you were trying to accomplish? Just to have a perfect smile – I wanted that Hollywood look, that holy woo smile – that was what I was going for that was what I wanted. Well what happened here? I ended up with that Hollywood smile. Alright! I got it, I got what I wanted. All right! And remember the day you came in with you husband? I do! Pretty much I was definitely afraid – you were crying from day 1 but- I am going to cry now (patient gets emotional) you walked through it, you courageously wen through it and you took a leap of faith and trusted us and everything came out beautiful – why- I feel metal that I did it and that I ended up it what I wanted because of you. And John your husbands-  so much is important with a husband supporting the wife, and vice versa – but this never happens. I can’t believe I am crying. Can I get you a tissue? Sure. Here we go – thank you. Oh well, I lie to overdo things.  Alright – Cindy was very nervous for doing this story for us and I don’t want to drag it out too long, alright – when you look back at the whole thing, you spent a ton of money too. What do you tin you spent between everything – I mean it’s just crazy. From day 1 of working on my teeth? Yeah – between you and Dr. Alkhany? 50? 50 60 thousand easy? But this is what I wanted all my life. You did it! Alright thank you!

Well this is Dr. Stephen Matarazzo and this is one of our patients we have known for quite a long time – Carol and she is going to share a little bit about her story here. I have been seeing Dr. Stephen Matarazzo for many years, and my teeth over the years have really protruded and it has been just unbelievable and I am so thankful to Dr. Stephen Matarazzo and the whole staff are changing my whole look, my teeth – I am so pleased with my teeth that they have come out such a big difference and I have such a better attitude about myself. Mhmm, such a big difference and much better. You look like a different person. Yeah I feel like – I look and feel like a different person, I feel much better. More confidence in myself, a much better smile and I am very pleased. Thank you very much. And you took a chance – you did not know what it was going to look like and I was scared and I probably should have done this many years ago but because it was a big step and I did not know what it was going to be and what I was going through it was kind of scary – if you don’t mind sharing. You invested an awful lot of time and money in yourself and if you had a guess – what do you think you spent between Dr. Mone and I – about 60,000 dollars. That is a lot of money, a big investment and you are glad you did it? I am it just makes me look like a whole different person and at least I can smile with confidence now and I feel better about myself. Yes thank you.
